RISK MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: MUNICIPAL MANAGER’S OFFICE
REFERENCE NO: 009/2018
SALARY: POST LEVEL E1: (R580 251.39) per annum
(Fringe Benefits: Include inter alia, 13th cheque, pension fund, medical aid scheme, housing allowance and Car allowance).
REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must have Matric/ Grade 12, BCom Degree in Accounting/ Auditing/Internal Auditing, Certificate in Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) will be an added advantage. 3-5 years’ experience in the field of risk management, Computer literacy, fluency in English.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
ØCompile a consolidated risk register as legislated,
ØImplement Risk Committee resolutions;
ØEnsure adherence to set laws and regulations;
ØEnsure inclusion if risk management into the culture and daily routine;
ØCompile timeous reports;
ØFacilitate fraud risk assessment and implement fraud related policies
ØFacilitate and monitor implementation of risk future action plan;
ØFacilitate and monitor implementation of internal audit agreed upon action plans;
ØEnsure that the risk committee is fully functional
